Celebrating International Women’s Day at Schroders Personal Wealth

The theme of this year’s International Women’s Day was #AccelerateAction; a worldwide call to acknowledge and support strategies, resources, and activities that positively impact women’s advancement.

At Schroders Personal Wealth (SPW), we are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. This year, we proudly celebrated International Women's Day by participating in various events and initiatives that highlighted the achievements and contributions of women within our organisation and beyond.

Women and Wealth Report

Ahead of International Women’s Day we launched our latest Women and Wealth Report, which highlights the unique challenges women face at different life stages and underscores the importance of reliable financial advice to empower women to achieve their financial goals.

Pro-Manchester International Women’s Day Lunch

SPW was the main sponsor of the Pro-Manchester International Women’s Day lunch.

Pro-Manchester is the largest business development organisation in the North-West, made up of members from the Greater Manchester Business Community.

Twenty SPW colleagues attended the event, including members of the SPWomen committee and winners from December’s SPWomen awards. During the event, there were talks by inspirational guest speakers, and a panel session featuring our very own Leigh Dunkley, Regional Manager.

Internal celebrations

As part of our internal International Women’s Day 2025 celebrations, our SPWomen network hosted an inspiring event focusing on accelerating action in the workplace. Our Commercial Director, Katie Young shared her career journey, the challenges she’s overcome, and a powerful exercise to help us identify key stakeholders who can support and guide our professional growth – reminding us that proactive steps drive real change. We strive to build an inclusive and diverse workforce, where everyone can bring their whole selves to work, and we are so proud of the contribution of our SPWomen network.
